When do you need car transport?

🛒
Bought online or abroad

Bought a vehicle in another city or country (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy…)? Carriers that already drive these routes deliver the vehicle at the price of a return trip.

🔧
Non-running or unregistered vehicles

Broken-down, unregistered or accident-damaged vehicle — transport is done on a car transporter or a trailer equipped with a winch, without the vehicle needing to be roadworthy.

🏁
Classic and sports cars

For valuable vehicles, choose experienced carriers with enclosed transporters and goods-in-transit insurance — all visible on the profile, with reviews.

🏍️
Motorcycles, scooters and boats

The same carriers often also transport two-wheelers and small boats — just select the appropriate category when posting your request.

How it works

1
Post your request

Make and model, pick-up and delivery location, running or non-running — in a few minutes, free of charge.

2
Receive quotes

Carriers equipped with car transporters send their quotes with prices and reviews.

3
Choose the best one

Compare prices and ratings, then agree the vehicle collection.

How much does car transport cost?

The price of car transport is in most cases calculated per kilometre and is roughly between 0.50 and 1.00 €/km in Europe, depending on the route, the type of vehicle and its condition (running or not). On international routes (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia), carriers frequently offer return trips at a reduced price — so it pays to compare several quotes. The final price also depends on urgency, loading conditions (winch for non-running vehicles) and insurance during transport.

What to prepare before transport?

Before handing the vehicle over to the carrier: photograph the car from all angles (condition before transport), leave at most a quarter of a tank of fuel, remove personal and valuable items, deactivate the alarm and prepare the keys as well as the documents (registration certificate or purchase contract for unregistered vehicles).

Frequently asked questions / FAQ

How much does car transport cost in Europe?
Roughly 0.50–1.00 €/km, depending on the route and the vehicle. For example, Munich–Milan is in most cases between 300 and 500 €. The exact amount is given in the quotes you receive on your request.
Can a non-running vehicle be transported?
Yes — carriers equipped with a winch on the flatbed or trailer also load broken-down vehicles. Be sure to state in your request that the vehicle is not roadworthy.
Is the vehicle insured during transport?
Professional carriers have goods-in-transit insurance — the amount of cover is visible on the carrier's profile. Before transport, photograph the vehicle to document its condition.
Do you transport vehicles across borders (Germany, Belgium, Italy…)?
Yes, international vehicle transport is a standard service. Carriers returning from these routes offer more favourable return rates.
How long does vehicle delivery take?
Within a country, generally 1 to 3 days after agreement; between European countries, 3 to 7 days, depending on the route and the transporter's load.
